Suns Look For Revenge In Minnesota

Coming off an embarrassing collapse against the Charlotte Bobcats at home Wednesday night, the Timberwolves return to the Target Center tonight and attempt to get back on track.

The problem? The Phoenix Suns are the opposition tonight.

Yes, Minnesota snapped the Suns 17-game winning streak on January 29 with Kevin Garnett leading the way. Since that great win, the Wolves have lost 7 of 10 games. This is why this team is so frustrating. They continually follow up a fantastic effort where they look like world-beaters with strings of games that make everyone wonder how Kevin Garnett is still in a Minnesota jersey.

The next four games for Minnesota are all home games, but when all four are division leaders there is a problem. Following tonight’s game with Phoenix, the Washington Wizards are in town Sunday, the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday and the Utah Jazz next Friday.

This may be the best stretch of basketball played in the Target Center this season.

It’s just too bad that the great basketball will more than likely be from the road teams.
