Consistency.
This word has been uttered by every player, executive and coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves countless times this season. When Coach Dwane Casey was fired, Kevin McHale gave inconsistency as one of the biggest factors for the move stating, “You can’t win four games in a row, then lose four games in a row.”

The sad fact is that this has been going on for the last few years - sure there have been bright spots and some good games - but since the firing of Flip - it's been a rollercoaster - from management and our franchise player all the way down to bit players who consistently say one thing and do another (Troy comes to mind).
I think people aren't giving James enough credit in the sense that we've consistently not given PG's a chance in MN - after the beloved Starbury left it's like all we've done is try and fill those "what if" shoes and when someone doesn't perform right away - we pull them, we doubt them. It's like Jaric - wasn't/isn't Sam I am clutch by any means - but he got the ball to KG and made sound plays - but since he wasn't outta the box spectacular we put him in a closet to the point where it was his worst year mentally.
Aren't we doing the same thing to James? Isn't this the same thing we've been doing now for the last 3 years where it's almost ridiculous because no one has been good enough? I"m not going to say you don't have some valid points about him and his play - but I wonder how much the situation has to do with it as well.
I'm all for winning - but it isn't everything - and it's getting to a point where even though KG is one of my favorite players and the reason I started watching basketball - it may soon be time to get KG out of 'Sota to a contender and start building a new team without so much baggage. It's almost like a curse....

Great points. It gets maddening with this team sometimes. I don't really have too much to add other than what you said.
Looks like we will keep beating some of the best teams and losing to some of the worst teams.
Sigh.... mediocrity continues.
