By now, you have probably completed your morning rounds of Timberwolves reading. You have looked at the box score of the Wolves “game” against the Dallas Mavericks last night, you have glanced at the Associated Press recaps and you have read the accounts of the Steve Aschburner, Rick Alonzo and Britt Robson. If you were in attendance last night, you more than likely were one of the many who left the Target Center at the end of the third quarter.

Rookie Randy Foye Wins The Battle With Gilbert Arenas


One of the most important aspects in the growth of rookie players is how quickly they develop the ability to stand up to big time players. In a game like NBA basketball, confidence is everything and once a player has that confidence, knowing he can play with anyone in the league, their productivity begins to skyrocket.

The Difference Between Good Teams and Mediocre Teams


There was an odd aura in the Target Center tonight and it took me a little while to figure it out. When it did finally dawn on me, I could not believe that it took me so long.

The oddity was that one of the largest crowds of the season was in attendance to watch quality basketball. The problem, of course, is that the quality team basketball came from the opposition, the Phoenix Suns.
