Chris Richard

OK, so I was wrong on Marc Gasol, but Richard is a good pick.

However, doesn't he do a lot of the same stuff as Craig Smith?

Agreed on the Craig Smith comment. Hopefully this means the end of any minutes for Madsen at least.

I thought Taurean Green was the sure-pick at this spot. A natural point guard that can shoot but is a pass-first guy and has excellent basketball IQ. Richard is a solid player, but like it was said, he does the same things as Smith.

I was a little upset with this pick only becuase I would have liked to see the Wolves take Taurean Green.

Maybe the Wolves will get another pick in this round?

What are some of the rumors you heard tonight?

Haven't heard much of anything since a lot of press left awhile ago.

Did anybody see that Bobcats trade?

Golden State sent Richardson to them for Brandon Wright.

Taureen Green, Reyshawn Terry, Marc Gasol, and Aaron Gray all would've been better picks.

You're dead on that he duplicates too much of Craig Smith. A center or PG (even a proven SF) makes more sense.

Chris Richard is someone you could get as an UDFA.

Reminds me of wasting our 2nd on Wright rather than going for Andre Blatche who is looking really good for Washington.

Green is still available. Perhaps we can make a trade to get the Gator trifecta.

Yeah, I'd like to have the three Gators. Or, maybe he'll not get drafted an sign with the Wolves.

I think the Wolves will make some sort of trade for one more pick. Even if it isn't to get Green.

If Green goes undrafted, you can bet Miami will make a run at him. They need a point guard -- and frankly, I'm surprised they passed up on him earlier in the second round. Green has slipped much farther than I thought. I wonder if there's something we don't know.

Wow, Portland has had some good picks. They just got Green.

Richards was a solid pick, and his length differentiates him from Smith. He's only a bit less than 6'9, but he has ridiculous arms. His standing reach of 9'2.5" is second only to Greg Oden among ALL of the rookies at the camp. Higher than Noah, Gray, Hawes, or any other 7'0 center taken. With that kind of length and a strong frame, he should have the size to play backup center with no problem.

For some reason, he reminds me of that guy that plays for the Wizards.

(I think it might be Eaton or something like that)
