Garnett Ejected, Wolves Lose and Davis Loses It

Minneapolis, MN - January 18, 2007 - Most headlines today will have to do with Kevin Garnett being ejected from last night’s game against the Pistons. One cannot blame Garnett for the motivation for his actions by sticking up for teammate Mark Madsen, Garnett did indeed let his team down by getting into an altercation with Antonio McDyess and getting himself tossed from the game. Although that is certainly news worthy, it is not the most important occurrence for the Timberwolves.

So…do you sit on the Wolves bench during games, then? I mean, you write as if you heard entire conversations between coaches and players last night, even following them into the locker room, evidently.

Is it possible that you may have jumped to some erroneous conclusions, based upon what you saw (not heard) from across the arena?

Suzi,

My seat in press row is about five feet from the Wolves bench. Everything in the article was witnessed with my own two eyes, front and center.

I can verify Stephen is telling the truth. We see him sitting there in press row each and every game. Same spot every time.

As for the fight, I think it looked much worse in person than it actually was. I watched it on DVR when I got home and on ESPN highlights...

KG gets maybe a 1 or 2 game suspension at the worst.
