He reached double figures in scoring for every game in the month, including the Dec. 29 win over Seattle, where he collected 12 points, a season high seven rebounds and five assists. Foye ranks third among Western Conference rookies in scoring (8.0 ppg), third in steals (.79 stpg) and fifth in assists (1.7 apg). "
Hopefully, the first of many awards.
Foye has impressed me from Day One with his maturity, willingness to learn and with his kindness. It is great to see a good kid like "The Young Fella," as Coach Casey calls him, be rewarded for his hard work.
