Mark Blount Needs The All-Star Break To Reflect

As someone who praised the addition of Mark Blount before the masses, referring to Blizz as Minnesota’s “Solid Man In The Middle,” I am especially happy to see nice efforts from him like last night against the Denver Nuggets. Blount is having one of his best seasons statistically, has arguably been the Wolves second-most consistent player this season and, on most nights, is a quiet, veteran leader on this team.

Lynx Trade Adrian Williams To Sacramento

As this will be Lynx Hoops Blog when their season begins, my first Lynx post is a sad one. One of my personal favorite Lynx players is now a member of the Sacramento Monarchs. I wish Adrian Williams well as she was always quite kind to me and we had some very entertaining conversations.

SACRAMENTO, CALIF., Feb. 14 , 2007– The Sacramento Monarchs today announced that the organization acquired Adrian Williams from the Minnesota Lynx in exchange for the Monarchs 2007 second round draft pick.

It's A Dead Issue For Me

On Monday afternoon, Timberwolves guard Randy Foye spoke with Twin Cities' media members regarding an incident with which he was involved on Monday morning.

Foye was issued a citation for disorderly conduct. Foye clarified what happened and his involvement in which he was just a a bystander. Below is his conference call with the media.

What A Buzzkill After Foye's Nice Start
